About Frank Caiazzo
Frank Caiazzo is the founder and owner of this website, “Beatles Autographs”. He is currently the Beatles Autograph and Handwriting Expert for both Sotheby’s and Christie’s—the two most esteemed auction houses in the world —who chose him to be their expert for a reason. He works with several other auction companies and autograph dealers worldwide. Frank has appeared onstage as a special guest lecturer at The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
He began his study of Beatles signed and handwritten material nearly 40 years ago, in 1986. Since that time, he has taken literally thousands of hours to study the intricacies contained within the signatures of the four members of The Beatles and identify subtle changes that took place within each of the four signatures, even over short periods of time, as they signed more and more as their popularity grew.
From the outset, Frank has remained very focused in his approach and in his desire to know everything about their signatures. Eventually he found that he could look at a particular set of autographs or individual autograph and not only ascertain whether or not it was authentic, but he could also determine exactly when it was signed to within a month in some instances.
Frank has amassed a personal reference compilation of well over 10,000 examples of Beatles signed and handwritten material; both full group, partial sets, and individually signed items as solo artists from 1970 forward. He has written articles which have appeared in books and magazines including “Autograph Collector Magazine,” “The Official Price Guide To The Beatles Records And Memorabilia,” and “Beatlology” magazine.
Frank has long been considered to be the world’s leading authority on Beatles signed and handwritten material, and his impeccable reputation is renowned in the industry. He holds his integrity to the highest standards, and will continue to offer fairly priced authentic Beatles signed material for years to come.
