AP10 A Great Set Of Beatles Autographs From The Fall Of 1964, With John Lennon Writing “Love From The Beatles”
$12,000.00
Description
Here is a solid set of Beatles autographs on a sheet of lightly lined notepaper that measures 5″ x 8″ – which is twice the size on an average autograph book page. On this page, all four have autographed beautifully in dark blue ballpoint pen. It’s always nice when a Beatles autograph set has the word “Beatles” written by one of the band members. John Lennon was the one who was least likely to write “Beatles” and what makes this set special is the fact that John has actually written “love from the Beatles” on the page, and this really adds greatly to desirability. Inscribed by him “To Jenny”, he has also added “XX” after signing, as has Paul McCartney. The set dates from The Fall of 1964 and this is a great representative set of Beatles autographs from that relatively scarce time period. And because the page is larger than an average autograph album page, the signatures are slightly scaled up and are actually a bit larger than they would have been had the page been smaller. There is a horizontal fold that is barely perceptible in person. 1964 was arguably the most historically important year for The Beatles, as it is the year when they truly broke through and achieved unprecedented worldwide fame. This is a great set of 1964 Beatles autographs for the price.
