TWO! That’s all there are, just two. In the world of Beatles autographs it doesn’t get much rarer than that. It goes without saying that Beatles autograph sets with their manager Brian Epstein are far and few in between. Naturally, in most instances when a fan or group fans were obtaining the autographs of The Beatles, Brian was often nearby and actually available to sign if asked to do so. But rarely was he ever asked to add his autograph to those of the four members of The Beatles and with that there are very few sets of five in existence on anything other than legal documents. Of those scant few autograph sets with Brian, there are only two known albums that were signed by all four Beatles and their manager. This is one of them.

Brian Epstein was by far the most responsible for bringing The Beatles “into being” as we know them, and without him taking the reigns as their manager in 1961 (without any prior managerial experience) it is highly probable that the world never would have even heard of The Beatles, as they most likely never would have come close to achieving what they did as they became the biggest phenomenon on the planet. He was really that important and instrumental to their success.

Here is an early pressing issue mono Please Please Me album cover that has been autographed on the back by the four members of the The Beatles and Brian Epstein beautifully in blue ballpoint pen.The album was signed on November 18th 1963, when The Beatles were visiting E.M.I. House in London for a special presentation in their honor, where they received several silver disc record awards for their incredible record sales, including one for this very title: Please Please Me. After they received their awards, they went to a special cocktail party and formal lunch in the E.M.I. House boardroom, which was attended by E.M.I. executives and their guests, one of whom had the foresight to bring this album and not only get it signed by the four Beatles….but additionally by Brian Epstein as well….thus increasing the rarity, desirability, and value exponentially. All of the signatures on this album cover are excellent representative examples from this time period – which was a mere 82 days before The Beatles landed at J.F.K. Airport in New York and changed the course of popular music forever – and so many other things from that point forth.

As previously mentioned, there are only two known album covers signed by The Beatles and Brian Epstein. The other one was a With The Beatles LP that was sold by us to a collector almost 30 years ago, who recently said he would never let it go. As of 2026, albums signed by The Beatles are nearly impossible to find, as 99% + are firmly placed in collections, with VERY few coming to market in any given year. The condition of this Please Please Me cover is in excellent condition as it was well taken care of over the years. Here is the only chance a collector will get to own an album signed by The Beatles AND their manager – a piece so rare – that it’s in a category of its own, namely” “The ONLY One Available”.
